Understanding of “SENSE OF SPACE”

The first spatial idea of the new level came in 2013. I have been doing the piece of work for several months, at that time I felt that I was standing at the verge of something new, but could not explain it. The piece of work was a canvas on which parts of leaves were painted and their continuation were painted in the street shaping the complete unit.

It turned out that this piece of work could not be limited only to the canvas. The leaves from the street were a part of the piece of work as well. At that point of time, I started to think. Where does the limit of the painter’s piece of work run and has the painter himself the right to decide where the beginning is and where the end is.

Thinking about this, I have got a breakthrough idea! At the beginning of 2015 I made the world largest-scale art-installation.

At that time, main ideas making the basis of the Sense of Space were formulated:

1. The idea already known but not related to the specific art type and style. It sounds like this: an artist may use in his piece of work any objects, including the ones made by other people and nature.

2. Only an artist may decide what is included in his piece of work. Where it starts and where it ends.

I made the video where first both ideas were pronounced. As an example, I took a brick from the floor, painted a point and declared it to be my finished object. And later, in the same way I declared my intent to paint not just on the wall, but on the universal including this wall, and hence, to create an endless piece of work.

It has become an absolute breakthrough in the art, completely new understanding and vision. To make a long story short, we left customary principles, a painter as well as observers has no frames for depiction of ideas or their perception!

In the next 2 sections I will give examples which shall completely change your reality forever and show how I and you have already been living with understanding of Space in the art at the sense level for a long time but clear wordings for its understanding and identification lacked! I will show how this new knowledge may allow you for deeper understanding of pieces of work!
